Social Media - Megan Bradley

 

  

Megan Bradley is our External School Media Committee Chair and works with the VP of Communications for the PTSO. She is new to Innovation Academy, with her son Nick being in 9th grade.  She has a degree in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College and got her teaching degree from the University of Richmond.  She taught special needs preschool for several years before becoming a professional school volunteer.  She served as the PTO President at Medlock Bridge Elementary for five years and VP of Sponsorship for one year and as the parent representative for the Autrey Mill Middle School SGC for two years. 

 

 

Newsletter - Chenille Boswell

 

 

Chenille Boswell is our School Media Committee Chair, and works with the VP of Communication. While she is new to IA PTSO, she isn't new to being involved at her children's school. Her son is beginning his junior year at IA and was lucky enough to be a part of the very first Freshman class to roam the halls of IA. Her professional background includes 20+ years of being a Logistics, Operations and eCommerce Executive at some of your favorite Big Box Retailers. In fact, it was Chenille's role in eCommerce that relocated her, her husband, and their two children to the Atlanta area a few short years ago, leaving behind the amazing Skyline of Chicago. And while she misses the food for sure, she's ok with missing out on the winters. A graduate from the University of Illinois (Go Illini!) with a B.S. in Business and Marketing, she is also a huge SEC sports fan. Chenille is very passionate about STEM and committed to helping IA students to be the absolute best version of themselves each day of the 2023-24 School Year; 1 newsletter at a time!

Teacher Grants - Rose-Anne Schmidt

 

 

Rose-Anne Schmidt is our Teacher Grants Committee Chair and works with our VP of School Support. She has a degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and a law degree from Fordham University. She worked in the legal field for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her four children.  Her oldest child, Grady, is currently a senior at IA. She stays busy by volunteering regularly at food pantries and helping to run her daughter’s non-profit.

Baby Photo & Pennant Displays Co-Chair - Jojo Washington

 

Jojo Washington is our Baby Photo & Pennant Displays Committee Co-Chair and works with our VP of Senior Support. She has degree in International Business and Fashion Marketing from AIU. She worked in the textile field before kids to become a stay at home mom. During their elementary school days, she took on some PTA roles ranging from collecting Box Tops (when they actually had to be clipped!), handling Spirit Wear, Membership, and VP of Way and Means. After many years that were filled with personal training clients, project coordinator roles and currently sales at Peloton, she's making her last PTA appearance as her 'baby' is graduating in 2024.
