Get Involved — Volunteer!
Parents & Community:
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is needed!
Below are the events for the year that we will need help with. Parents, be sure to complete the REQUIRED Fulton County volunteer training before your event. This training has to be renewed every two years. Note, Fulton County Schools purged the volunteer system this summer, and all prior submissions expired May 31, 2022. All Parents must register this year with a new expiration date of May 31, 2024.
You can access the training here: https://www.fultonschools.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=9539
You do NOT need to be a PTSO member to sign up for a general volunteer opportunities, however, if you are interested in serving on the PTSO Executive Board, Advisory Board or being a member of a standing volunteer committee, PTSO membership is REQUIRED per our Bylaws.
Student volunteer opportunities are broken into two categories:
- Open to All: Any student, regardless of PTSO membership, may sign up to volunteer, support IA and earn hours for volunteer organizations (ex. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Junior League, Scouts, etc.)
- Restricted to SAC: These opportunities are available to PTSO Student Advisory Committee members selected by application ONLY. Do NOT sign up your student for these opportunities if they are not a member of this organization.
Once again, thank you!
