President - Andrea Russell 

 

 

Andrea Russell is our President. Her background is in IT and specifically educational software implementations. Andrea has served on several PTO boards throughout her two children's educational careers. Her involvement on the board of the PlusOne Adoption Foundation has been a personal passion for the past several years. Andrea has been a resident of the North Fulton area for the past 12 years.  Her daughter is a sophomore in college at Indiana University this year and her son, Ian, is a sophomore here at IA and will be completing the Engineering and IT tracks.

 

 

  

 

Junior PresidentPam Sidhi 

 

 

Pam Sidhi is our Junior President. As an innovative project manager, her mission is to accelerate volunteer management, community outreach, event planning, fundraising, and youth programs. She has lived in Atlanta, GA, for the past 15 years and proudly calls it home. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Management with a Dual specialization in Finance and International Business. With 18 years of experience as a project Manager and volunteer, she has consulted with diverse organizations, broadening her expertise before committing full-time to being a mom. She has held various executive positions, including Project Lead, Event Coordinator, and elected volunteer Co-Chair President for non-profits.

 

Pam seeks projects that leverage her enthusiasm for efficiency and out-of-the-box thinking. She focuses on achieving key results, building strong teams, and quickly adapting to new insights. She enjoys solving problems with modern technologies and meeting new people. Feel free to reach out to discuss emerging tech, reading, swimming, or scouting.When not working, volunteering, or navigating a busy social life, Pam is a stay-at-home mom to a freshman at IA this year. Her family of three—her spouse and child—are her rock stars, helping her understand her purpose. She genuinely wants everyone to succeed and will go out of her way to ensure that.

 

 

VP of Ways and Means -Carissa Donges

  

 

Carissa Donges is our VP of Ways and Means. Her background is in IT helpdesk, software implementation and training. She has served in a leadership capacity with PTAs for the past 13 years as a way to be involved and make an impact with her children's educational experience. Along with being part of the PTSO start-up process here at IA, she has also been instrumental in setting up and managing the Fencing Program at IA. She and her 12th and 9th grade daughters also enjoy serving the community through the National Charity League when their time allows.  Her goal for IA PTSO is to set a strong foundation in place that can be built upon and modified as the school evolves and enrich the overall experience here at IA.

 

  

 

VP of Student Support - Isabella Filippone

Senior Support - Dr. Latia Davis

  

 

Dr. Latia Davis is our Vice President of Senior Support. Latia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Phoenix, a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from Walden University, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University. She has extensive experience as a middle school teacher in Southwest Florida and, during her doctoral residency, served as a substitute teacher for Fulton County Schools. Latia was also an active member of the school governance council during her daughter's middle school years.

 

With a strong passion for community involvement, Latia dedicates her time to educating and leading adolescents to achieve their goals. Over the past six years, she has become an expert in the field of healthcare leadership. Latia is enthusiastic about supporting Innovation Academy as the VP of Senior Support.

 

Latia resides in Sandy Springs with her daughter, who is a senior at Innovation Academy pursuing a healthcare pathway. They both enjoy international travel and exploring new cultures together.

 

 


VP of Community Relations - Megan Bradley

 

 

Megan Bradley lists her career as a “professional volunteer”, having served in various roles on school PTO’s since her kids started school.  Besides being our VP of Community Relations, she is also the PTA Co-President at Autrey Mill Middle,  Chair of the Mayor of Johns Creek’s School Engagement Committee, and Hospitality Chair for the JCHS Swim Team. 

 

Her son Nicholas is a sophomore in the IT Pathway and a varsity swimmer for JCHS. Daughter Olivia is starting middle school this year.  

 

Megan got her BA in political science from Bryn Mawr in Philadelphia and a secondary education degree from U of Richmond. She married her high school sweetheart, taught special needs preschoolers, and had 2 kids in Virginia before moving to Johns Creek 11 years ago.  

 

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and cheering on her kids at swim meets.

 

 

VP of Communications - Soumya Bhaaradwaj

 

 

Soumya Bhaaradwaj is our VP of Communication and previously held a role of Webmaster in the first two inaugural years of IA PTSO.  She has a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangalore, India. She has a strong technical background and has a diversified skill set covering  Business System Analysis, Data Analysis and Application support.

 

Soumya loves volunteering in her free time and has volunteered in multiple organizations over the years in Event management and Fundraising as a committee member. She has also been a  co-chair on the school auction and teacher grant committees. She is very excited to be on the Executive Board and serve the IA community.

 

 

 Secretary - Sheridan Ameer

 

 

Sheridan Ameer is our Secretary.  Sheridan holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master of International Relations from Syracuse University.  Prior to choosing to stay at home with her children, she had a career in government procurement and was the Deputy Agency Chief Contracting Officer at the New York Police Department.

 

The Ameer-Preuss family relocated to Roswell, Georgia in 2018, following their five-year adventure in London and Frankfurt. Sheridan is actively involved in her sons’ pursuits and served as the Treasurer of the equivalent parent association at the International School in Seeheim, Germany.

 

Sheridan’s older son Maximilian, also known as Maxi, is a sophomore at Innovation Academy.

 

 

 Treasurer - Todd Kennedy

 

 

Todd Kennedy is our Treasurer. Previously, he has held the positions of President and Treasurer of the PTA at Haynes Bridge Middle School. By profession, Todd is a management consultant, specializing in the energy industry and he also owns his own consulting and photography businesses. Todd holds an M.B.A., in the management of technology, from the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech and a B.S., in international affairs and law, from Georgia Tech. Todd has two sons at Innovation Academy, Gavin (11th) and Aidan (9th).

 

 

 

 

 

Parliamentarian - Lorri Werner 

 

 

Lorri Werner is our Parliamentarian. She has a Bachelor in Accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. However, her career passion and depth of experience lies in project management and information technology implementations for which she has spent the majority of her career.

 

Before staying home to care for her three children and elderly father, Lorri was the Controller for Wal-Mart in Bentonville, Arkansas and implemented numerous systems for them globally (ERP, Human Resources, Purchasing).Lorri has been a Fulton County Schools volunteer, chaperone, and community advocate for 14 years. She has volunteered for a wide array of her children's programs and local charities.

 

You may have encountered her at the ticket booth for Milton Theatre, the dugouts for AYBA Baseball or the football sidelines with MJE Cheer dedicating countless hours in service to the Alpharetta and Milton communities and their children. Lorri is honored to serve Innovation Academy and be a part of such a tremendous, diverse and talented leadership team. Her goal is to create an experience at Innovation Academy that is beyond expectations, serve the students and faculty daily and leave a legacy that supports future students in the years to come. Lorri welcomes you to share your student's hopes and dreams for the IA experience with her.
